During the Summer of 2015, I spent 3 months (May - July 2015) conducting the field work
for my PhD research project. I was based at the English Language Teaching Centre, in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
My PhD research focused on teachers' perceptions of their professional development journey. I followed the progress of three groups of educators, comprising primary school English language teachers and experienced teachers who have recently been appointed as School Improvement Specialist Coaches (SISCs) in the last one year on their CPD journey of attending INSET courses.
Upon the end of my field work, I treated myself to a trip to the Petronas Twin Towers and enjoyed the time I spent at the observation deck and taking in the view of the beautiful scenery as seen in the picture above.
